Each Wild Instincts salon evening includes a live conversation with Sarah Marquis — one of the world’s most accomplished solo wilderness expeditionists, having walked alone through some of the most unforgiving terrain on earth.
She joins not to speak at the room, but to be in it. What she brings is a particular kind of clarity that only comes from having been somewhere completely wild and found yourself equal to it.
The salon is also your first introduction to the immersions and micro-expeditions she co-leads through The Lightness of Being Project — five-day field experiences in rare wilderness, designed for women who are ready for a serious conversation with themselves.
